Paul Hull

Director and Co-Owner of KMB Shipping Group

“I’m so proud to give my support in raising the profile of Sandwell even further.”

Paul Hull is the Black Country Chamber of Commerce’s Black Country Business Person of the Year 2022 and was elected to the Chamber board in 2023. He’s Director and Co-Owner of Queen’s Award-winning KMB Shipping Group, a freight forwarding company that has provided global import and export transportation solutions for over 30 years. In addition to facilitating imports and exports, Paul’s team offers comprehensive transport solutions to customers, including customs advice and export packaging services.

“I’ve been at KMB for more than 25 years, working my way up through the business while gaining invaluable experience in sales, customer services and marketing. The ins and outs of importing and exporting, in ever-changing geopolitical landscapes, are always challenging. But I believe every problem is just a solution yet to be discovered. Now my role involves strategic business planning and nurturing senior customer relationships, as well as managing our great team alongside co-directors Jamie Warren and Kevin Jones.

“KMB started out in Sandwell over 35 years ago, and we’ve stayed true to our roots, retaining local staff and strong links to the local community. I’m so proud to be a Sandwell Business Ambassador and give my support in raising the profile of Sandwell even further. I’ve grown up in the area and know what a great place it is to live and work. I’m looking forward to meeting local businesses and contributing towards the success of the Sandwell community.”
