Sponsored Breaks: how your Sandwell business can give people a much-needed break

As the Covid-19 pandemic showed, people need a break more than ever. However, not everyone can afford to take time off and relax. This is where Black Country-based Sponsored Breaks comes in. Founded by Simon Love, this venture offers free breaks, supported by sponsors in return for nationwide and digital advertising.

Sandwell Business Ambassador Brian Cape knew about Sponsored Breaks and recommended Simon present to us at our meeting. That’s how we got to know about him and Sponsored Breaks.

At the core of the operation lies the generosity of sponsors – who help to keep Sponsored Breaks on the road. There are various ways businesses can sponsor, from having their logo on the van livery to donating a raffle prize for fundraising.

Sponsored Breaks has chosen the top spec four-berth VW Transporter highline, modified with all the essentials to ensure people get the well-earned break they need. The van is exclusive to Sponsored Breaks, with custom ‘honeycomb’ wrap to showcase the sponsors’ logos.

Once a business has chosen to sponsor, they will receive an automatic email confirmation directing them to a form. Upon submission, the sponsor will gain instant access to the sponsor logos to display on their website. The Sponsored Breaks team will then put together the elements to create the sponsor’s pack, which will be emailed to them.

Tiers of sponsorship

Sponsorship packages range from Bronze to Platinum, with benefits such as social media shoutouts and links, entry into the online business directory, a certificate of sponsorship, and a huge logo on the campervan. The Platinum sponsorship package offers twelve months of sponsorship, while the Basic and Silver packages offer one-time and twelve-month sponsorships, respectively.

By sponsoring Sponsored Breaks, businesses can make a difference in their community and show their support for a good cause. Moreover, sponsoring can also provide exposure and advertising for the business.

In conclusion, this is a unique opportunity for businesses to give back to the community and support those most deserving. By sponsoring this venture, businesses can make a meaningful impact on people’s lives and receive advertising in return.
