Free environmental taster day

EnTRESS (Environmental Technologies & Resource Efficiency Support Service) is holding a free environmental taster day for SMEs, in collaboration with Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust. The event is taking place on Wednesday 10 May from 9am to 4.30pm at Haden Hill House in Cradley Heath and is open to SMEs in the Black Country and Staffordshire.

Sandwell Business Ambassadors are committed to sharing environmental good practice, as well as promoting positive mental health. This day looks to address both those aims. It is a great opportunity to get away from the office and learn new skills, connect with nature and build team rapport.

Get hands on at Congreve Nature Reserve

As an attendee, you will get a chance to learn about how to improve sustainability on your own site and in the wider environment, and feed into the natural capital agenda. The taster day also offers an opportunity to get practical experience at an active habitat creation project at nearby Corngreaves Nature Reserve, and to apply the skills and knowledge gained to your own business.

The event is free to attend, but booking is essential. To find out more, and register your free place, visit the Eventbrite page.
