Monday 24 to Friday 28 August: free online jobs and skills event for Sandwell

Sandwell Council with Think Sandwell is holding a week of online sessions to showcase the support available to find jobs, apprenticeships and training in the borough.

The virtual events are aimed at boosting skills in the region and aiding post-pandemic economic recovery. Whatever your age, career or skill level, experts from the council’s Employment and Skills team, alongside colleagues in other council teams and local services, will be on hand to help you get ahead.

The free daily sessions will be hosted on Microsoft Teams from Monday 24 to Friday 28 August and will provide information and advice for anyone looking to retrain, learn a new skill, find a job or explore a new direction. As well as the live events, there will also be information and materials from partners and providers posted on Think Sandwell’s YouTube channel.

Perhaps you’re at risk of redundancy, thinking about a change in career, or a young person about to leave school, college or university. Whatever your situation, go to the Eventbrite listing to register and find out what support and opportunities are available to help you achieve your employment goals.
