Business Data and GDPR Toolkit

This is one of a series of Fully Funded workshops from FOCUS DIGITAL.

If you are a Start-Up or SME based within the following areas: Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire, Greater Birmingham and Solihull or The Marches, and would like to demystify GDPR and know more about how digital data can help you grow your business – Coventry University Enterprises Business Solutions are offering you the chance to attend a Fully Funded day workshop (6 hours), with the option of an extra 6 hours of one to one support for your business.

The workshop is a full day of 6 hours with refreshments and lunch provided. You are asked to arrive promptly at 0900 for registration ready for an 0930 start.

Business data provides the potential to create competitive advantage and business value in the growing digital economy – from effective customer relationship management, to evidence-based digital marketing strategy across the online estate.

The morning workshop will provide a hands-on guide to GDPR (the General Data Protection Regulation), with a plain-English guide to the new statutory requirements and easy-to-follow tools and techniques for business compliance.

The afternoon session will focus on the opportunities and business value that can be created by the effective harvesting, management and utilisation of digital data across business activities such as customer relationship management, web analytics, digital marketing, and data as a storytelling tool.
