Director of the Year Awards 2020: nominations open

Nominations are open for the Institute of Directors’ (IoD) annual awards for the West Midlands. Are you going to enter?

IoD’s Director of the Year Awards are a celebration of leadership talent, success and achievement from across the region. You don’t have to be a member of the IoD to enter.

Previous finalists have come from an eclectic mix of sectors and professions.

This year’s ‘Director of the Year’ categories are:

* Non-Executive
* Young
* Innovation
* Public Sector
* Third Sector
* Family Business
* International
* Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
* Social Value and Sustainability Impact
* Start Up
* Small to Medium Business
* Large Business.

Further details can be downloaded here: DotYA categories criteria 2020 West Midlands Concise.

There is a thorough judging process completed by respected industry leaders, which is why the awards are highly competitive. It’s a great opportunity to get your story heard and your achievements recognised.

The winners will be announced at a champagne breakfast in June, and making the shortlist could bring valuable publicity and prestige to your business. Even more so if you win!

So if you’re a company director of a West Midlands business, enter as soon as possible – the closing date is Monday 27 April 2020.

The Sandwell Business Ambassadors would especially love to hear about success in these awards for Sandwell directors who embrace inclusion, diversity and responsible business – do keep us updated.

To find out more about the awards, go to the website (https://www.iodawards.com/westmidlands), or contact the IoD’s regional director Calum Nisbet: calum.nisbet@iod.com.
