All aboard the ‘Get Involved’ Roadshow

Join the Get Involved Roadshow in June 2023!

By volunteering, you can support local communities, boost your team’s skills and experience, make new friends and also have fun. In June, SCVO’s volunteering platform Let’s Go Sandwell will be touring the borough with a Get Involved Roadshow, sharing information on volunteering opportunities.

Let’s Go Sandwell is organising the events in partnership with Sandwell Council, Sandwell Council of Voluntary Organisations and the West Midlands Combined Authority. By attending, you can find out about hundreds of volunteering opportunities in Sandwell, and how getting involved can change lives.

You can also get news relating to skills development and apprenticeships. Plus information about how you can add social value to your business by linking up with local groups and organisations to benefit the community.

Get Involved Roadshow: it’s coming to a town near you

Whether you’re looking to share or develop your own skills, help good causes, challenge yourself, meet new people or boost your business, then pop in any time between 11am and 3pm at the following locations:

Experienced volunteers will be on hand with light refreshments to share their knowledge and advice.

To find out more about social value, and why it’s important for your business, visit Think Sandwell’s social value page.
