Free mental health training
28th January 2024Tough Enough to Care is offering free mental health training to anyone living or working in Sandwell. This also includes organisations and businesses that are based in the borough. The sessions are funded and supported by Sandwell Public Health.
In the 90-minute session you will find out how to:
- Reduce stigma around mental health in the workplace and promote help-seeking behaviour;
- Increase awareness of support available and embed suicide prevention within company culture;
- Promote the use of tools and resources to help maintain good emotional wellbeing.
Tough Enough To Care’s experienced trainer will come to your workplace, or find an alternative venue if your workplace doesn’t have a suitable space. They’ll even bring free tea and biscuits.
Making Sandwell safe and supportive
There are no hidden costs and no upselling. The only aim is to help make Sandwell a safe and supportive place to live. If you’ve already done one of these initial sessions, there are also free refresher sessions available, with updated information and resources.
Tough Enough To Care is a Midlands-based mental health charity. Its aim is to support people to talk about their emotions before they reach breaking point. Staff have lived experience of mental health issues and supporting people going through mental health crises.
